We had more to say this time around , says drummer Phil Cicco. We didn t set out to recreate the wheel, but we did have some content and subjects that we wanted to cover. I guess we completely went for it with no regards to how anyone would judge us and without caring if the music got categorized or pigeonholed in a certain way. The funny thing is , Cicco laughs, when you do that for the first time in your career that s when people start saying how unique what you re doing really is. This is how we ve always written, it s just the things we ve chosen to release are what everyone else thought our fans would like. This time we just wrote, recorded, and put together an album that we truly enjoyed listening to ourselves, and the results have been totally amazing . Critics seem to agree.
