Nice Pino!

"I have been listening to Pino since 1980 when an Italian drummer I played with turned me on to his unique blend of jazz, folk, funk, world and pop music (truth is, his music defies all of these categories--it's simply "Pino" music). This is one of is best albums. The musicianship is fantastic. "Boys in the Night" "Mama e!" and "'Nu poco 'e sentimento" are the my favorite tracks and are, in my opinion, good examples of what Pino does best, that is, to combine beauty and rhythm, effortlessly moving from the tender to the tough. If I could only own 2 Pino CDs, this would be one of them and Bella 'Mbriana would be the other. Either are good introductions to Pino, yet they're both very different."
