"It's hard to tell who Pinky and The Brain are designed to appeal to. Their humor is both mindless and slapstick, but there are plenty of sly references to current political and social phenomena. Lab mice with a burning desire to rule the world are not your ordinary cartoon fare!In this episode, The Brain records a subliminal message telling "Citzens of the World" that they must do whatever he says. Now all he needs is a means to get the message "air time." Pinky's preoccupation with country music provides inspiration, and before you can say "Howdy!" The Brain gets a pair of stilts and transforms himself from a tiny white lab mouse into "the best new country music star over six foot six."If you are a fan of cartoon voice actors, Rob Paulson and Maurice LaMarche (Pinky and The Brain, respectively) are two of the best. This CD shows that their vocal work stands up even without animation."
