CD Reviews

This is the medicine for your sickness!!!

"Sometimes people just make me sick because this song was the hottest song off pinks album and it was well advertised and everything and some people just weren`t feeling it. "You Make Me Sick" had the hottest video, it was on the "Save The Last Dance" soundtrack, how much more advertising could this single have received. This was by far my favorite track on Pink's debut album and my prediction was that if this were to be the 2nd single it would be huge, but it was the third single so I guess that messed everything up. I still say this song is hot and I will remember for always, especially with the two hot remixes on this single that are originals in there own.Track Listing: 1.) You Make Me Sick (Radio Mix) = This is the version that was radio friendly and didn't have the intro like that of the version on the album.2.) You Make Me Sick (El B Remix) = This remix is hot and sound just like an original in its own, the beat is a bit faster but its not like some of those tacky remixes.3.) You Make Me Sick (Dub Conspiracy Remix) = I not only love this remix because of the hot beat but because of the vocal edits they do, and some even sound like fresh new vocals.4.) You Make Me Sick (Album Version) = This is the album version with the cool intro with pink on the Telephone saying "They make me sick".5.) You Make Me Sick (Instrumental) = Look they have an instrumental version of the song for all you wannabe singers. Just kidding, I'm sure you all can sing very well. This track is still a hot hit and us fans are the ones that know their hits because we be feelin' them. If you haven't heard this song I'm sure its not us fans that are the ones who are missing out."
Remixes Don't Elevate Album Version

"*10 is the highest possible score a song can get on my rating scale. Dance and cruise power refers to whether the song would get me to the dance floor and if it is a song I would like to cruise to in my car. Creativity refers to how original the remix is [does it break any barriers].1. RADIO REMIX 4:10--This song is nearly identical to the album version. In fact, I wasn't adept enough to distinguish the two versions.2. EL B REMIX 5:58--This remix has a house flavor to it. A fairly static beat. Pink's vocal on this track resemble the vocals on the album version. Creativity: 6.5/10, Dance and cruise power: 6/103. DUB CONSPIRACY REMIX 5:34 remixed by Andrew Hunter. This is the better remix of the two on this cd. There is a female voice that sings "ahh"'s reminiscent of those that you can barely make out in the background of the album version that Hunter brings to the forefront of this remix, which adds a nice touch. Creativity: 8/10, Dance and cruise power: 6.5/10.4. ALBUM VERSION By far the most danceable and upbeat version of the song. Creativity: 9.5/10, Dance and cruise power: 9.5/10.5. INSTRUMENTALOUTCOME: In my opinion, Pink is by far one of the best talents to emerge as of late. Her album Can't Take Me Home is a very good investment. These remixes, however, come up short of elevating an awesome song to another level."
It didn't become a hit

"I don't know why this third single from Pink didn't become a mega hit like "there you go" and especially "most girls." I think of all 13 of her songs, that this is by far the best one. It has really smooth vocals. It is not quite a dance song, but more slow paced with a rap tune. I like the huge church bells ringing in the background, you can hear them if you pay attention. Pay real close attention. The remixes I don't care for. I don't care for most of Pink's remixes, except the really cool "there you go" remix by Hani. If you want a excellent song with much flavor go with this. Sounds good!!!"
