"The third full-length album from Pierre Lapointe is more in-your-face and rocking than the first two (which were vastly different from each other as well), but it's every bit as brilliant as his previous releases. I only understand about 20% of what he's saying thanks to some vague memories of high school French classes, but what's lost in language is more than made up for in the music. The songs tell you exactly what they're about with the music itself - the production, the melodies, the emotion... these are songs written by a marvel and performed by true musicians and music-lovers, and it's apparent in every note. There are no duds here - every song is joy to the ears. If you're tired of all the auto-tuned, click-tracked and slick-productioned-to-death stuff that's on the radio these days and are looking for something interesting, exciting, a little bit retro and a lotta bit refreshing, get past the language barrier and give this guy a try.
