I haven't heard their newer stuff yet, but of everything I own, this is my favorite. Generally cohesive, tender, and melodically sensitive. It breaks my heart.
No Closure, You and John are Birds, and Password are tracks I return to over and over again. I always wish the best parts would go on forever, but that is the magic of Piano Magic- they give you enough to be completely and totally delicious, but not enough to satiate. I always listen to single tracks on repeat, just to get enough. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys poetically sensitive lyrics, perfectly shaped melodies, and something rather different than your average music purchase." |
