CD Reviews

NOT a Fan
C Deans | England | 11/23/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am not a fan of the group - just bought the CD as a matter of speculative curiousity. As far as PCD's music is concerned, especially with the slower numbers, there is a certain nostalgia and (dare I say) vulnerability about it - with a childlike characteristic in the melodies and lyrics that make it inspirational and challenging. But make no mistake, behind the veil of sweet and catchy melodies, the message is a forceful one. Definitely worth making this one your own - music, message and all."
Motivation for the Spirit
C Deans | 03/19/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The songs of PCD are so inspiring. "Mercy Came Running" always refreshes my spirit when I get down. It was the first song I heard after I got saved, and is my favorite. The words in thier songs are so uplifting with praise for the Lord. I highly recommend this cd for new christians, it will be a breath of fresh air when the world gets too much for you. This is a truely wonderful collection of songs."
Great stuff
Erik J. Sawyer | Baton Rouge, LA | 11/03/1999
(4 out of 5 stars)

"A good, solid collection of PCD's best. They've made sure to include songs that were popular with fans, but not released as singles (e.g. "I Want To Be Just Like You", a tearjerker for any father). However, I was a bit disappointed not to see the ballad "New Mercy" (which was a '97 radio hit)."
