"Cannot agree with previous poster, this is a very, very fine album, voted second best of 06 on ProgArchives. Great compositions and musicianship."

"What a surprise! I can honestly rate this album even higher than some of their best ones (e.g. Per Un Amico) for the excellent composition and overall integration of the 8 pieces. Amazing that these guys after all those years still have the passion and energy left in their heart. Mussida's guitar riffs give me goosebumps and make me feel 20 years younger. Well done!
P.S. The second DVD contains identical music with movie clips, which are not recommended (except perhaps the first track with scenes in Venice) as they may impose some fixed (often not quite pleasant) images stuck to particular tunes - just like movie soundtracks.

Absolute perfection

"This surprise new outing from the Italian symphonic prog masters Premiata Forneria Marconi not just surpassed my expectations, blew them out of the water. Of my extensive library of cd's, I can honestly say that this recording is in my top 10 all time list. The music is warm, lyrical, and played to perfection. It defies being pigeon holed as just another prog rock recording. Stati blends elements of symphonic prog, fusion, jazz, and classical. This all instrumental album is easily PFM's best work to date, and a must-have for anyone who likes MUSIC. This is a true 5 star recording.
Whoever rated this album 2 stars is completely tone deaf."
