"From early seventies till the release of Ulisse in 1998, PFM has released many albums, some that are considered real masterpieces (Storia di un Minuto, Per un Amico/Photos of Ghosts, L'Isola di Niente/The world became the world, to name the most impressive), and a couple of albums that are not so impressive. "Come ti va..." belongs to the second category. I still wonder how the band that was able to make one of the best prog albums of all times (Per un amico/Photos of Ghosts), an album so complex and sophisticated with magic at every turn, how the same band could come up with "Come ti va...", a very disappointing one. OK, with PFM every next album is very different from the previous ones. But with this one where are the inspiration, the sophistication and the magic gone ? One of very very few PFM's CDs I must admit I can hardly listen to. Maybe, in a way, the ancester of Ulisse; go with "Ulisse" instead, at least the magic is back, and some tracks are excellent. Ciao Georgio"

"This album is completely different than any of the earlier works. It is kind of along the lines of when PFM was backing up an pop Italian singer. It isn't very good pop music either. One song does start out promising, but that fades by the end of the tune. It is the only high point on the alburm. Sometimes, an album will have one song worth recording before you dump it. I don't think this one song would make the cut....."
