"This is a 4 CD boxset. It comes in an attractive package with an unusual sized box (around 6 inches by 8 inches) and has a very nice color booklet written in Italian. These CD's are also available as 4 individual volumes in conventional jewel cases. At $53, the boxset is a much better deal. There is also a condensed 2 CD version called Celebration. It's only $15, but it cuts out a number of the better jams, in favor of the standard songs. Each CD is from a concert tour during the seventies (except the last CD contains material from 2 tours). The sound quality starts out poor but gradually gets better. The middle two CD's come from the period when PFM was at its best, but there isn't a bad CD in the set. A typical PFM concert would be 5 or 6 songs from the studio albums and intermixed with incredible jams that featured one of the musicians. You can find more information and track listings under the listing for each individual volume. The fourth CD contains 4 tracks from the 1981 tour. It is the weakest material (but best sound quality) in the set. There is supposed to be a Japanese import that is the same as 10 Anni Live, except that it includes 4 more tracks from 1978 instead of the 1981 material. It is called Absolutely Live and I have never seen it anywhere. If you are interested in the 10 Anni boxset, you might want to get it while you can. It wasn't available anywhere for a few months, and it may disappear again."

"Despite what I've read about the sound quality of these recordings, I went ahead and ordered this 4CD box set. The previous reviewer is right - it's an odd package (smaller than you think) with Italian text. However, while the sound isn't as pristine as PFM's Cook, the energy and performances more than make up for it! The power of the first disc alone is unbelievable as PFM rip through King Crimson and Jethro Tull covers! PFM live are an excitingly different band than in the studio, and this collection (sure to be out of print) is one worth indulging into. e Festa!"
AWESOME

"the fact that these guys can write just beautiful classical and folk influenced compositions...and then jam and rip like mahavishnu and king crimson is just....awesome!!"
