Great voice, great cover songs!

"I first heard this fellow while living in Sweden about ten years ago. After making a name for himself in musical theater, he turned to rock, but I prefer his covers of hits from the musicals by far. He's got a great musical lead voice, and this album has him singing some of the greatest songs of modern musical theater. Of course, from the song list provided, you would not know that, unless you were familiar with their Swedish translations. "Nu eller aldrig" is "This is the Moment" from "Jekyll and Hyde"; "Led Hans Vag" is "Bring Him Home" from "Les Miserables"; Track 3 is "Why God?" from "Miss Saigon"; Track 4 is my favorite, though it's not from a musical; it's based on a Swedish poem, I think. Track 5 is "Kiss of the Spiderwoman"; Track 6/7 is from the musical "Sweet Charity"; Track 8 is from his performance in "Kristina fran Duvemala"; Track 9 is "Don't Rain on My Parade" from Funny Girl; Track 11 is from Abba's Ulvaeus and Andersson"s "Chess" and Track 12 is "A Piece of Sky/Papa Can You Hear Me?" from "Yentl". Even if you can't understand every word, if you know the original English versions I think you will be impressed with his vocal interpretation of these modern classics. Too bad there's no listener sample linked to this album."
