"I am a big fan of all of Peter's music for over 10 years now. Since I am a 4th grade teacher and mother of a 3 year old, I had to get Peter's children's CD. I bought it for my kids, but play it for myself. The tunes are original and funny! It amazes me that my 4th graders can pick up the lyrics after one play of the song. (My best friend is a salamander is their favorite.) There are values in the lyrics that I hope my students take with them after listening to the song. "You shouldn't judge a friend by how he looks or by what he eats" is a great way to teach respect in my class. I look forward to more children's CD in the future."

"My wife and I finally started listening to this CD during nap time and after the kid went to bed for the night. I have a feeling we'll crank "MBF is a Salamander" up every now and then after the kid's gone to college. The lyrics are hilarious, touching and articulate about important values without being "roll your eyes" heavy handed."

"This is a wonderful CD for kids that parents will enjoy too. The music is high quality; creative, touching, lots of fun. You won't regret adding it to your collection."

"This CD is lighthearted, intelligent fun for the entire family. A great listen for all ages, there's something for everyone here. My daughter (4-1/2) has consistently requested it over the past 3+ years. (Pete, hate to break it to you but you come in right after Raffi and Hap Palmer in her top 5!) There's even more here for older kids, who'll appreciate the silly and imaginative tales of such characters as Larry, Bucky the Talking Horse, and the Little Space Guy. The many voices of Peter Himmelman will dazzle and delight young and old--he is a true genius and I can only hope this won't be his only album for kids. This is worlds away from the usual--you and the kids should be able to enjoy this one for many years to come. This relatively undiscovered treasure also makes a great gift. Enjoy!"
