Although he has since produced many more fine songs this is a brilliant compilation of his earlier work. As the title suggests it contains his calmer songs and ideally should be purchased in conjunction with The Storm after the Calm which shows the otherside of his writing. If you don't know of Hammills work buy this (and Storm) and enjoy - you will then want to buy more."
