"I love The Persuaders. Unfortunately Tommy Hill passed, but The Persuaders legend can be seen on their official website; www.thepersuadersonline.com with the Living Legend/singer/song writer/producer/ Richard Poindexter, Alexander Brown, David Turner, and Carlos Flores (replacing Tommy Hill).. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to know you. PJ"
Great but missing something

"Most people remember the Persuaders as that group that did Thin Line Between Love And Hate. Awesome early-70s soul music there, like most of the rest of this album. But who decided to leave "Some Guys Have All The Luck" out of this collection? That might have been their next-most-popular song, and judging by the cover version Rod Stewart did of it, maybe their next most-well-known. It's a very good collection representing their soul sound, but leaving out SGHATL makes anyone who buys this collection just this side of lucky."

"There was a lot happening with 70s Soul, and one of the bright stars were The Persuaders. I loved "A Thin Line Between Love And Hate". No truer words were ever written in a ballad.
At the same time I cannot be but disappointed, because "Some Guys Have All The Luck" is missing in action. Why?
All the remakes since, fail to measure up. Help!
Other wise I would have given this release 4.5 stars, but for that one glaring flaw."
MISSING CLASSICS !

"Excuse me, not only is "Some Guys Have All The Luck" missing, the most beautiful of all their songs missing is, "Once In A Lifetime Thing", "Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me", and "I've Been Through This Before", one of their most powerful ballads. They were all recorded on the Atco label. If they were all included on this cd, this would be one grand cd. Why on earth the record company did not put them on this cd, who knows? I hope some day, they soon will be !! J.H."
