Yeah, me too

"I miss the 'Mats a lot, too. Paul's solo stuff is great, but it's a far cry from the roaring rave-up rockers the Replacements used to do. Well, here's the next best thing to the greatest band ever to play. Perfect's EP is incredible, big, loud rock. It's got everything I've wanted to hear for a long time, and it's great to be hearing it. Not since Pleased To Meet Me have I felt so good about buying music (has it been 12 years?). Tommy Stinson, the 'Mats' bassist heads this effort, and it's much better than the short lived Bash & Pop group (although they were pretty damn good, too) You done good guys. I'm dying for the LP to come out."
All Hail the Mats

"Do you miss the Replacements? God knows I do. And for all of its sentimental charm, Paul Westerberg's solo stuff makes me kind of sleepy. I miss the old Replacements, the loud, sloppy, punked-up rock n' roll Replacements. Via onetime Mats bassist, Tommy Stinson's band, Perfect, you can get that feeling again. This EP isn't perfect, hell, on its purely musical merits it barely deserves three stars. They have a new record coming out sooner or later. Some kind of record company dilemma. I hope they get it together soon, I saw them preview their new material here in Memphis last year and it fulfills the promise of this EP. They give me a feeling I haven't had in a long time--and that I was happy to have again."

"I picked this CD up at FYE for 97 cents. I only really bought it because I liked the cover (And how can you not?). I was quite surprised by the quality of the EP. There are some really good tunes here, especially Miss Self Esteem. Best 97 cents I've ever spent."
