"A name like Peppermint Harris is reminiscent of the artists of the '20s & '30s, my favorite era of blues music (isn't it everyone's?). And it's not false advertising. Jelly Roll Morton would have been proud to share the stage with this artist. He's magnificent. Although I've been a long-time fan of the Blues, I've just now become fervent, so I don't know much about today's artists. Upon recommendation of a friend, I bought this CD and am so glad I did."Cadillac Funeral" is my favorite cut, but there aren't any songs on the CD that make me leap for the SKIP button. This is a great CD for your collection, especially if you want classic Blues, rather than the Blues-Jazz amalgam that is so prevalent in today's releases."
