"Very good CD. I had the pleasure of watching Pepe live in Miami on various occasions. The music is still as powerful and contagious as it is live. Not commercialized at all. Enjoyed Comprometida and Todas las Sombras. Ochoa w/ the charango and sampoña is the man! Hope to see a second album (with Cuando el Viento Empuja track)."

"In English:PePe Alva's CD is one of the best if not "the best" spanish CD in a long time. I honestly feel sorry for all those that don't understand the language. peace. ina.
En Espanol: El CD de PePe Alva is uno, si no El mejor CD en espanol en mucho tiempo. Me da lastima todos ellos que no hablan el idioma.(Primo Dios que no vaja a traduser su musica en Ingles muy pronto.)
