This release is a celebration of the seven years, thirteen releases, experimentation, and insanity known as Pele. Known for their blistering performances, the group completed their run in 2004. Since then, the core members have been playing as Collections Of Colonies Of Bees and will be releasing a collaboration with Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) on Jagjaguwar. Pele left behind a legacy of work that was often limited edition, always hard to find, and highly collectible. This release collects that work on two CDs. Packaging includes 24-page full color book in digipack with pictures from every era of Pele, comprehensive band chronology, drunken tour diary, and track information. Limited edition of 2,000. This year also sees the DVD release of their last show in Tokyo, and the re-issue of their first two albums.
