Also equally famous duets with Mexico's Jorge Negrete, Agustin Lara, ranchera great Miguel Aceves Mejia and Mexico's old time famous singing physician Dr.Alfonso Ortiz Tirado. Last but not least are two of the legendary Pedro Vargas/Beny More 1954, recorded in Cuba duets, "Perdon" and "Obsesion", composed by puertorican maestro Don Pedro Flores,all of which make this CD a must for all latin music collectors and Vargas fans. In re-issuing this classic on CD format RCA should have included more Vargas duets as "bonus tracks" such as "La Barca de Oro" also recorded during the early 40's with Argentina's Libertad Lamarque, a beautiful version of a lovely ballad we haven't heard in many years.
