"First night in west palm was a beautiful night and pearl jam played a diverse set. While the show began with a melancholic but powerful oceans; the perfect mood setter. The band went right into curdoroy, which is frequently played at PJ shows, with its haunting guitars and revitalized energy. Red Mosquito, underappreciated, but shows Eddie's wide vocal range. After this song, Eddie dialogues with the crowd, thanking Sonic Youth for opening, and thanking a local for taking him to the beach to look for surf, but nothing was "breaking", "only my heart"; and then went into binauraul songs "nothing as it seems" and "thin air". The show got stronger as it went on, and while the band was immobile and more mellow early on, (perhaps due to the Europe Tragedy), the concert picked up pace with an excellent version of Present Tense, and then Lukin and Rear View Mirror. RVM was played with a new musical interlude, and then closes with Eddie in vintage form. Encore, and then standard classics elderly woman, better man, excellent state of love and trust and closing with Keep on rockin in the free world. For those in attendance, there was a shooting star during the night, which the band didn't notice, but the crowd lets out a loud cheer. This concert was appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed by the true Pearl Jam fan, but if you were looking for Jeremy, Black, yellow ledbetter, you would be dissappointed and are probably not a true fan."
# 30 in a series

"An overlooked gem in the series. I have no idea why the band failed to give this performance their patented man/ape logo. One of only two shows to feature Oceans(in my opinion, one of their best songs)and the set list was a dynamic one. Even Flow features Mike on a paticularly good night, Present Tense has some fantastic vocals from Ed. Leaving Here makes a rare and welcome appearance in the tour, Holland/Dozier/Holland would be proud."
