Though it's the first time Pearl Jam has played in Slovenia, the fans are attentive and vocal, even loudly singing the closing melody of "Black" from Ten well after the band has softly faded it out. Nearly half the set is ... more »taken from the band's last two albums, Binaural and Yield, but most of the special moments from this show, such as the punky blast of Vitalogy's "Spin the Black Circle" and Merkin Ball's angry "I Got Shit" (a.k.a. "I Got Id"), go back a little further. The trio of tunes that close out the performance--"Porch," "Soon Forget," and "Indifference"--have a very intimate feel that really seems to connect with the crowd, still fired up after more than two hours. "Indifference," from Vs., is particularly moving, with the crowd singing much louder than Eddie Vedder at the end, a moment guaranteed to give you goosebumps. --Adem Tepedelen« less

"This is the CD that all of us grunge fans in Slovenia have been waiting for since 19. 6. 2000. Eddie Vedder and other members of this incredible band have come to Ljubljana on that hot June day and brought with them all the best songs from there new album Binarual (Insignificance, Breakerfall, Nothing As It Seems,...) and other great songs (Indifference, Last Kiss, Daughter,...). I dont think Hala Tivoli has ever seen that great show before. Audience was going crayz, singing with Eddie and trying to climb onto the stage. More than 2 hours of great music was enough to satisfy every Pearl Jam fan, and now, whit this CD out, I can say that Peral Jam is one of the best bands in the whole world that thinks about there fans and trys to do everything to make them happy. And they are doing really great, cause every song that they make is on my Wishlist. I wish that we will see you again, Pearl Jam."
A real gem

"I can't understand why this CD isn't getting more attention. Everyone's talking about Hamburg, Milan and Katowice, which are all great shows, but this one is definitely in the same league. The setlist is terrific, the band is hot, and the chemistry with the crowd is electric. A "must have" for even the casual Pearl Jam fan."
Worth it just for......

"INDIFFERENCE. It was the only date on the european tour where they played it. You can feel the intimacy with the audience from this recording of that song. The other songs also make for a varied set including all the classics. Admittedly it's not as good as the #4 London CD, but it is still well worth the 5 stars I have given it."

"This is a great show which I enjoy. First, I appreciate the geography lesson because I did not know where Ljubijana is. I learned that it is the largest city in the nation of Slovenia, a small country situated on the Balkan Peninsula and bordered by Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia. It has access to the sea through the Bay of Trieste in the northern Adriatic. I am impressed with the recording quality as well as the performance by the band. The second disk is my favourite because Eddy Vetter establishes a connection with the enraptured audience. The final three songs of the set, PORCH, SOON FORGET and INDIFFERENCE, are intimate as to project Eddy into my living room. If you are interested in moving live performances by popular rock bands, or are interested in the music of PEARL JAM, this CD will interest you."
