Introspective, dense textures that seem rhythmic but aren't.

"This music would be of interest to Tibbetts fans for its multi-percussional accents and screaming (though not hyperactive) electric guitar. It lacks Tibbetts' folksiness, though. Clearly influenced by Miles' "difficult" electric phase for its emotionally disconnected, exotic moods. Guitar provides the only clearly identifiable "solos," despite the impressive roster. I personally hoped for a more liberal dose of Schutze's idiosyncratic, beautiful electronica......he serves more as a ghost in this machine."

"This is an excelent instalment to the phantom city library. If your not familiar with phantom city they are and electronic fusion/jazz rock comination, feturing of course paul schutze and bill laswell, to name a few. Im tired of everyone writing reviews and saying that this group sounds like electric miles period. Im not going to go all out and say it dosent but id have to say its more reminiscent of king crimsons side project projects. Electronicall charged with awesome bass electronics and trumpet."
