"OUTRAGEOUSLY DYNAMITE + NASTY!! Kinda gritty audio quailty, mastered from the best available RARE CIRCA EARLY 60's LOCAL VINYL SOURCES. Mostly REALLY RAW NASTY INSTRUMENTALS ( including "Summertime" by George Gershwin and the title tune which is actually one raunchy transcription of Rachmaninoff's Prelude in C Sharp ) WITH LOTS OF OF COOL PIANO RIFFS + FUNKY SAX FROM MR. LINDSEY. Just a couple of tunes with vocals, and those are neato cool too. Drawback: Full Price Import Pricing for just about only a half hour of playing time, but worth it. If you have the Sony Greatest Hits, then you really ought to have this too, for they both represent the Raiders Very Best. Their early local, pre-Columbia output heard here remains relatively unknown unfortunately, for this really is a totally fascinating must hear. 3rd favorite Raiders album also a bit of a rarity, recently reissued by Koch, their Christmas Lp. It's worth seeking out too, along with this outrageous gem!"

"This is before the Raiders hit it big on TV. A garage band, raw untamed all Instro album. Title track boogies with Paul's piano. Mark's sax is featured in All Night Long, a remake of Summertime(Mark again), Tall Cool 1 (Paulie)Wabash Blues & a tidbit of a tune called Concert in F Sharp!
S.2 rocks with Uncle Paul & Beatnic Sticks! Then Swingin' Shepard Blues, "GROOVEY". Love the Last Mile! (I ALWAYS blasted the cassettein the car) then "Road Runner". Next: a "howlin' Moon Dawg". The new CD has 2 B Side 45 cuts: Orbit & Sharon (a Mark vocal). A RARE & short but significant LP for die hard Raider Fans. Back to the 60's!"
