"This album is of Mauriat's 1990 concert in Omiya city, Japan. It was a highly professional concert with excellent renditions of "Penelope" / "Love is Blue"/ "El Bimbo" and a good bassey version of Khatchaturian's "Sabre Dance". On this album the French medley sounds purely orchestral as opposed to the trashy sound of these pieces on "Best of France" which were dominated by an annoying synthesizer. Overall, this album is a good buy if you want to hear Paul Mauriat in concert. It's a definite improvement on Mauriat's 1983 "I Love Breeze" CD concert but not quite up to the standards of the "30th Anniversay Concert" CD released in 1996."
Enjoyable= Worth getting !!

"Paul did a great job with this concert. His way of rendition here is very "paul-mauria-tic" without playing the synthesizer, which he used to use during his latter career. I was very impressed by his unique "Just the way you are" in particular. As each track was digitally recorded(DDD), the sound quality is superb.Also, I'd like to strongly encourage you to get a DVD for this concert. You will love it too. I don't know if it's possble here in the USA though. I have enjoyed this great concert with this CD and the same titled DVD."
