This is a straight ahead jazz CD with the feel of the old Prestige recordings. Saxophonist, Paul is known for his fire and ability to negotiate tough changes. The title of this CD "Just Noodlin" was inspired by a term used by Paul Carr's elders, Noodlin'. The term was used to describe an activity that one engages in for purposes of discovery. For this project Paul invited some of his friends and fellow musicians to noodle with him. The result is a wonderful musical conversation between friends. Enjoy!
