"When the saints go marchin' in

I wanna be in that holy number...

I was introduced to The Patterson Singers through a CD set called THE GLORY OF BLACK GOSPEL. I don't know what it was, but somehow, I developed a taste for them. Their style is a mixture of Mahalia Jackson, the Clara Ward Singers, and the Roberta Martin Singers rolled up into one.

Of the two albums combined on this disc, SONGS OF FAITH is the one that I love more.
