"A buddy of mine got me into the Pat McGee Band. Give this CD a listens and you won't want to stop, especially if your mood is mellow. Perfect for the car trip, the boat, or just sitting around on the deck/patio. Let's put it this way - I'm a fan of Buddy Guy, Phish, and a lot of classic rock n' roll and love this CD........well, my mother, who would prefer to listen to Barbara Streisand, Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis, West Side Story, etc., etc., etc., also loves this CD. She was asking me, "who is this? ", so she could be the CD. Overall, the CD is very relaxing with some very catchy tunes. My personal favorites are Passion, Rebecca(although the version on "From the Wood" is the best), All Around Us, Ceamelodic(the catchiest IMO), and On Your Way Out of Here. Give it a try!"
Just awesome!!

"I heard Pat McGee Band for the first time in college, and have been in love ever since! This is the first album I owned, and while they are all great, it holds a special place in my heart! Pat McGee Band is one of the best-kept screts in the music business, and although I hope they get the success they deserve, some of us old fans selfishly would love to keep them to ourselves! This is great acoustic music with great songs and clever lyrics, and talented musicians- the best songs are "Passion," "Rebecca" and "Flooding the Both of Us." Buy it today, you won't regret it!"
Terrific

"i saw these guys live in the spring, and they were amazing, but sometimes that doesn't translate to studio recordings (note OAR's first 3 cd's, DMB's first however many cd's, etc.), but this recording captures some of their live prowess while still being clean and concise. great songs, great music...if you like VACO/OAR/DMB/Georgia Avenue/Dispatch, try this out"
Good tunes

"I just started listening to Pat McGee awhile ago when I heard kids my age talking about them coming to town. At first I wasn't too impressed with their music. It seemed too country for me, but after listening to Shine for awhile I've begun to like the band. Now I'm trying to get all their cd's. Pat McGee is really great."
