Much More Than You Expect

"This CD which was recorded in 2004 in a tiny bar in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (The Red Room) is a completely one take live audio snapshot of one of the most overlooked and talented artists in American musical history. Featuring a low tuned old Gibson guitar, homemade plywood stomp percussion, bluesy harmonica and haunting vocals, Mr. mAcdonald has been recorded totally in his environment and delivers.
His sound and the style of music on this release is hard to describe because he is creating a path that he alone travels. Swampy, sexual, intellectual rock? Gutbucket, wry, singer/songwriter? You decide.
I have heard this hard to find release will be available again soon with possibly some bonus tracks and new graphics. You also might want to check out pat's latest studio release "Troubadour Of Stomp" which continues and expands on the sound created on "Red Room".
