"Pat Dailey is one of the finest songwriters in America today - period. He's been called the "Jimmy Buffett of the Great Lakes" and I don't even think that does him justice. I was somewhat upset to see the tag "explicit lyrics" adhered to this title. Don't get me wrong: Pat writes some of the best "adult" songs available, but he balances them with heart-wrenching ballads sure to bring a tear to your eye. On "Great American Saturday Night" you will find "Father's Last Words" a song from a dying father advising his sons to accept sex whenever it's offered. You will marvel at the internal rhyme and laugh out loud (even if you're a bit "prudish") at the imagery. But then listen to "Dressed Again" - a simple song about how a man feels watching as his lover leaves their bed and dresses for the day. It will leave you breathless. There is only one thing better than a Pat Dailey record and that's seeing him live in Put-in-Bay, Ohio or in Key West. But unless you've got a vacation planned - you should get this record. Heck, you should actually buy it.... I buy a lot of records and I see a lot of performers. Give Pat a listen - You will not be let down...."
Pat Dailey at his BEST!

"This CD is the ultimate mix of Pat's serious and fun sides. While his last CD was all fun with no serious material, this song has a nice blend of both (with the majority of the songs are fun). I recently had the chance to enjoy one of Pat's live concerts at the Beer Barrel in Put-In-Bay, OH. It was easily the best concert I've ever seen. I hadn't had that much fun in a long time and I look forward to someday going back to see Pat live at the Beer Barrel. While this CD is exceptional, I reccommend going to see Pat live if you ever get the chance. His CDs don't quite capture the energy and atmosphere of his concerts."
