"This album is a guitar lovers dream. Relaxing and romantic, this album will touch your heart. It's a perfect album for many occasions...for the beach, on the deck, a candlelit dinner or even as background music while reading. The booklet contains a few snippets of romantic poems by such poets as Emily Dickinson and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. A must for all fans of new-age music."
Wonderful music!

"I bought this album in 1994 and listened to it for years, it is a beautiful recording. I am not even a fan of most new age artists besides Enya, but this album touched me. It's wonderful to fall asleep to. I lost the CD a few years ago and I have been searching for it since then, I'm glad I've finally found it."
A nice compilation

"This multi-artist compilation--Passion: Music for Guitar--was released in 1994. It consists of guitar-based music. There are 11 tracks. The pieces sport pleasing songwriting, musicianship, and sound quality. Several artists from the Narada label are represented. Randy Roos is represented by "Proven By Fire" and "Explorations." David Arkenstone is represented by "Love on the Beach" and "Lover's Promise." Nando Lauria is represented by "Good Question" and "New Face." Simon Wynberg is represented by "Parasol Days" and "Running Games." Friedemann is represented by "Passion and Pride." Ralf Illenberger is represented by "Gentle Touch" and "Joy of Life." The compositions that I favor are "Proven By Fire," "Love on the Beach," "Gentle Touch," "Lover's Promise," and "Explorations." "Proven By Fire" is a fine, ambient piece. "Love on the Beach" is eloquent. "Gentle Touch" is characterized by its plaintiveness. "Lover's Promise" is expressive, while "Explorations" is cavernous and mysterious. The disc is just over 53 minutes. Actually, I rate this compilation 3.5 stars. It is recommendable."
