CD Reviews

Well-crafted synthpop !!!

""Lifeline" is the the type of album that you'd find more & more enjoyable the more you listen to it. The group itself is no longer exist, and the lead singer became the lead singer for NEUROACTIVE ("Fiber-Optic Rhythm" album) and later formed "MONOLITHIC." Most of the songs in this album is uptempo with great beats & synths. This is a straight-forward synthpop formula (not a darkwave/EBM). In my opinion this album is better than his later work with MONOLITHIC("Power Undiminished" album). Definitely pick this one up first !! Peace !!"
Good, quality synthpop

"Paradigm is the early work of Midihead (of Monolithic) and Adam Sorensen. Paradigm takes their work to a deeper, more spiritual level than most acts and what results is some very catchy, very beautiful synthpop music. With songs that alternate between dancey to slower and more heartfelt (Lifeline) this album has a little bit of everything. Paradigm's "Lifeline" is definitely an album worth picking up, especially if you are a fan of Midihead's current vocal work (the man has a great voice!)"
Some has been said, some hasn't

"As said previously, Paradigm is no longer existant. Monolithic (the vocalist and lyricist) who also now goes by Midihead has moved on with his solo career.

Midihead's site offers Paradigm's Feel album which has a very different feel from Lifeline. Songs such as Desire to Love were remixed for Feel and have a much more sensual and calming sound then the version on Lifeline.

If you like Midihead/Monolithic, this is definately an interesting purchase because you hear how much he's grown as an artist since this album."
