"i bought this back in '69 'cause i was into everything on the harvest label (edgar broughton, pete brown, battered ornaments, floyd, kevin ayers, etc.). i was absolutely delighted with it. i've been looking for it to be reissued ever since the inception of cds (along with their second release "indian summer"). it's jug band music. it is comparable to mungo jerry. i don't know if this is good or bad jug band music, but i love it. there's a charm to this that is very enduring, decades later. the music hasn't aged at all, even though i did. there is no new info on the reissue other than it was remastered and pressed in spain. i hope someday their second release, Indian Summer, gets on cd (it has been released in limited edition of 300), or some live material pops up. a delightful find if you are into folksey, blusey type of jug band music."
