"When I was young I got a vinyl record of one of Palani Vaughan's albums of the meles written for the coronation of Kind David Kalakaua. Since then been looking for the rest of the set. This "Best of" set has a lot of, but not the full slate of these old meles, nonetheless they are the original 1970's era recordings and they are absolutely beautiful. Haunting, and sometimes sad, but very true to the compositions by and for King David Kalakaua. Grab it if you find it!"
