CD Reviews

66 promises and memphis are worth millions of other albums
andyglue | Kiev, Ukraine | 12/16/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"i like this single more than the album. well, "like" is not the word... i can't think of any other songs that would make me feel so......(is there anything to call this feeling?) buy it right now, guys. and god bless you, polly"
Bonus track well worth it!

"The bonus track makes this single worth the purchase price...it's a great tribute to Jeff Buckley..."
The light maze of b-sides
larthia | Italy | 01/06/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"b-sides are weird, four winged creatures. you'd expect them to be sweet riddles, they've been out-casted from the big building that is 'the_album' and you think there must be a reason, BUT: you still end up loving them way more than the songs in the album itself.those featured in the good fortune single(s) do not make exception to this (if paradoxical) rule. anyone would agree that memphis is "very divine indeed!" and 66 promises (or 30, the third bee., featured on part 2) are "great songs" if nothing else."
