"'Live Underslunky' was recorded from the band's 1991 UK tour.Nearly as good as their more recent live offering,'Pongmasters Ball'(see my review).Total of eleven mind elevating tracks with a duration of 72:50.Like the Ozrics are well known for, here they're playing their own style of neo-progressive space rock.Cuts I thought stood out the most were "Erpland","White Rhino Tea","Sunscape","O-1" and the fifteen-minute encore "Ayurvedic".Worth checking out."
Ozrics need more live discs

"The Ozrics haven't released a live album with their most recent line-up (except for the out of print Spice Doubt), which is too bad since Rad (their latest drummer) has left the band. Merv plays drums on this disc and the drumming isn't quite up to the standard of recent albums like The Hidden Step and Become the Other. Otherwise, this is a great live album with superior versions of tunes from Strangitude, Pungent Efflugent and Erpland (among others). Lots of jamming, perhaps too much at times, and little of the techno/rave stuff, which will be pleasing for some fans, disapointing for others."

"I bought this and Erpland on cassettes for £2 each at a recent (may 2001) Ozrics gig. the gig blew me away totally! and once home i listened to Erpland (amazing!) and then this live underslunky. I was uin disbeleif at the sound quality of the live recording, it sounded like the real thing i had witnessed only hours ago!i thaught it would be ...(less than expected) because it was £2 and on tape but it was great. Imagine what it would be like on CD! I reccomend this one! the song selection is excellent and the performance is at once trippy, fast, slow, quirky, jamming, focused, with lightening flashes of brilliance! VOOSH! CRACK! BA-DAM! JUST LIKE THAT! YOUR HEAD WILL BE BLOWN CLEAN OFF WITH THEIR PSYCHADELIC MASTERY!"
A Great Opener

"This is one of my favorite Ozric CDs. The opening track "Dots" or "Dots Thots" has a great guitar rhythm that sets the tone of the CD. The guitarist, Ed Wynne is one of those great guitarists that most people never hear. He has a knack of making delay effects sound awesome. Plus, he is a great soloist. The Dots track also reminds me of the theme song from Lost in Space. "Oh dear William!""
