Nostalgia at its finest

""Step Outside" is one of Oyster Band's earliest publishings. The Irish sound is evident, but lead singer John Jones has a teeny weeny scrawny sound to his voice, far from the deep dark and melodious Jones of later recordings. The general sound of this publication is ...with all respect... awful. However, the songs and lyrics are both captivating and thought-inducing, songs like "My Dog", and "The Old Dance" full of foot-tapping rhytm goodness. Bottom Line: If you are into The Oysters, this is both a funny and nostalgia-arousing must have item. If you are not an avid fan, get something newer, anything from "Holy Bandits" to the newest stuff."
