Worthwhile CD but missing too much score.

"The songs on this CD offer as much as you can expect from a 1991 movie set in Brooklyn. There is a strong feel of Latino/Rap that dates the CD more than the film. You will probably like a few of the songs but you'll be too embarresed to play it in the company of friends.David Michael Frank's vigorous score only gets 3 tracks worth of space here, a rather odd choice for Varese Sarabande to have 8 songs and only 3 intrumentals tho. He created several cool themes and atmospheric cues. But each and everyone of them only gets one exersize. A real shame. Track 10 will sound terrific for anyone who has a great speaker set-up. The heartbeat bass will bring the house down. I doubt it wil happen but it wouldn't be a bad move for Varese to rerelease this with the full score from the movie and ditch those grating early 90's tunes."
