CD Reviews

Otto Von Schirach's digital vamp
Kenji Siratori | Japan | 07/29/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

""Otto Von Schirach's acidHUMANIX infectious disease archive of the biocapturism nerve cells to the body encoder of the ultra machinary tragedy-ROM creature system that was debugged the technojunkies' nightmare-script of a clone boy reptilian HUB. Maxipad Detention turns on the feeling replicant living body junk of Otto Von Schirach's digital vamp cold-blooded disease animals to the insanity medium of the hyperreal HIV scanners DNA channel of the corpse city ill-treatment. Otto Von Schirach's brain universe of the hybrid corpse mechanism gene-dub of a chemical anthropoid to the terror abolition world-codemaniacs that was processed the data mutant of the drug fetus of the trash sense guerrilla." - Kenji Siratori, author of Blood Electric"
Hulk Sects

"I once read an advice book for musicians trying to be "successful," and one tip they gave was to learn how to describe your music in a way that is simple and memorable. The example they gave of a simple and memorable description was "my band sounds like the incredible hulk have intercourse."

Well, I never thought I would actually come across a band that fits that description. However, this CD proves me wrong, as it clearly sounds like monsters procreating. This is due to a lot of juicy-sounding water samples and synthesizers layered over drums with an off-beat feel and pitched-down vocal bits.

This guy got booed at a noise fest in his home state of Florida a few months ago, but I still love this CD. It's kind of like an electronic Fantomas."
Totally disfunctional

"Otto fires up the cement mixer and trowels out the samples with the finesse of a jackhammer. Relentless--never comes up for air and consequently wears a bit thin before long. Farm implements crashing down several flights of stairs. Mixing cocktails with helicopter blades-- straight cacophony, no chaser. The perfect thing to irritate your neighbors, parents, or to stampede wild animals."
