"Quiet moments and thoughts of the past into the future is shared in this latest release from Ottmar Liebert ""In The Arms Of Love:Lullabies 4 Children + Adults". Take note from this
experience of tranquil sessions leaving your shell of pressures and stress, this is just what the doctor ordered. Liebert who has mastered and brought flamenco to many fans in the world is in a class by himself. My favorite past albums are "Barcelona Nights:The Best of Ottmar Liebert" (2001), "Nouveau Flamenco" (1990), "Poets & Angles:Mjusic 4 The Holidays" (1991), "Nouveau Flamenco 1990-2000 Special Edition" (2000) and my friends, the list could go on. Stand out picks on this album are difficult, but here goes ~ opening track "IN THE ARMS OF LOVE", the notes keep repeating the song title, very addictive ~ "SEA OF TRANQUILITY", listen for the mesmerizing sounds of the ocean as liebert blends in, taking
you on a journey of musical pleasures ~ "ODE 2 THE MORNING STAR(4 REM), can only be described as meditation in the purest form, Liebert takes sporadic notes adds sounds of nature with relaxation written all over it ~ "OUERENCIA", couldn't get by without some flamenco, talent and the master of the instrument flows with this cue ~ "CAMINAR SOLO:WALKING ALONE", the title and performance says it all, Ottmar is in charge ~ "SOFT BLUE SPIRAL:THE LULL OF FALLING WATERS", a therapist dream of healing is prevalent, play this one over and over, see if you don't agree ~ "WAVES OF SOUND(4 CAPTAIN ENO)", ever have a dream that you feel you've experienced before, well this track awakens that feeling, Liebert takes his final track into another dimension sending vibes of the unknown, just around the corner. Higher Octave is always there for excellence, this album is proof of the love affair between artist, label and the many fans. Hats off to them and the quality of music that influence so many fans and musicians today, gotta love it! Total Time: 66:54 on 13 Tracks ~ Higher Octave HOMCD-12559 ~ (2002)"

"Ottmar's new CD 'In the Arms of Love' is different from all his other CD's, will make a pleasant addition to your collectiona.
It's a real tension tamer, and is refreshingly soothing with soft tones derived from nature which at times produce effect of dew drops falling on rose petals and other times sound of waves chasing each other in the wilderness of an ocean."

The compositions comprising In The Arms Of Love: Lullabies 4 Children + Adults include Sea of Tranquility (6:40); When I Close My Eyes (3:16); Dreaming on the Starlight Train (5:26); Ode 2 the Morning Star (6:32); Twilight Rain (5:43); Duerencia (2:13); A Secret Garden (4:15); Caminar Solo: Walking Alone (4:04); Quiet Dawn (3:48); Soft Blue Spiral: The Lull of Falling Waters (4:10); The Music Box: Dreaming Next 2 U (6:32); Waves of Sound (7:06); and the title piece, In The Arms of Love (6:48). "FINALLY. A lullaby cd that actually will put both you and baby into a coma-like sleep or trance (lol)! No silly words,no baby talk or sing-songy verses, just pure unadulterated soothing acoustics (with some backgound sounds added to a few of the tracks to enhance your listening pleasure). This CD is guaranteed to relieve stress & put an end to any and all foul moods etc... Each track has such a calming effect on little ones and now is the time to expose them to a more sophisticated sound. No lullaby library is complete without this winner!"
