"If you liked Oscar Peterson's West Side Story CD you'll love this. He has Ray Brown and Ed Thigpen with him and his interpretation of George Gershwin is magical. In typical Oscar fashion there is the melody which smoothly translates into improvisation and just as smoothly returns to the melody at the end. Oscar's unmistakable "piano runs" are as brilliant as ever. This is Class A music from the post bop period of the late 1950's. If you love Peterson and Gershwin, this CD is a must have."
