"Excellent CD on Spanish Celtic Music. I must say that this cd brings forth much of what Spain has to offer. from Fiery Flamenco to great mystical Celtic music ! A magical wonder and a great place to visit. The cd hits much of "gallego" or the language from the northwest of Spain. Great CD I urge anyone to purchase the CD who wants a taste of the "green" side of Spain !"

Truly Spanish Music

"This is truly Spanish music, unlike the Flamenco music from Southern Spain which is Moresque-African in origin, due to the presence of Islam there for seven centuries; the singing is made in galician, a romance language derived from Latin, not in basque (euskera), and these are called muneiras, that have that characteristic sound like the irish jigs. The tunes are typical from Galicia, Asturias and Castilla-Leon.

Enjoy the true flavour of Spain, and throw in some Catalonian sardanas. Hail the true Spanish music!!!"

"For those who not know anything about Gaitas Gallegas, as me, this is a good start. Beautiful music. Easy listening. Not a very good recording as others from ARC. But the music inside is very good and very "must have". I like too much this music."
