"People...this is what is called a Movie score. Everyone is rating it low because they are too dumb to actually look at the track listing to see what they are getting. 9 people have rated this so far and every one of them gave it 1 star because it is not the SONGS heard in the movie...THAT IS NOT RATING WHAT THE PRODUCT IS!!!! THAT is called rating based on what you WANTED it to be. I got this because I KNEW what I was getting...the Score...and it is very enjoyable."
This is the score...

"Everyone, this is NOT the soundtrack so I'm unsure why it's getting so many one star reviews. Look at the track listings, it's the movie's score. The score itself is OK (thus a 3/5) but all these reviews are based on what they felt it should be instead of what it actually is..."
Not what it should be

"I understand that this album is the Score, and not the Soundtrack. This is not a case of confusion on my part.
However, this CD is **listed** as a SOUNDTRACK. It is *not* listed as a score. Therefore, if they are calling it a soundtrack, it should be the soundtrack.
That's why I am only rating it one star. If they wanted to sell the soundtrack, don't pull a bait and switch and sell the score under a soundtrack label."
Best thing about the movie -- the original score

"I thought the score music for "The Ugly Truth" was the best thing about the film. It helped the pacing and created a light mood when necessary, but was never overbearing. It's good on its own as well, very upbeat and fun. As scores go, this one worked well, much better than the film. I'm guessing that a lot of people don't really understand what "movie score" means, given their reactions to this album."
