"This CD is packed with lots of light melancholic russian rock songs, something there for everyone. Every track ends with a soundclip taken from the movie, mostly an important passage worth to remember and it does indeed put a smile on your face if you have seen the movie. Every single track has it's special mood and represents it's part of the movie and russian attitude nowadays. This Soundtrack has accompanied me for almost two years now and its still one of my favourites.. A nice mix of fast 'n easy rock songs and emotional ballads."

"This soundtrack of the 2000 movie "Brat 2" (Brother 2), sequel to the 1997 Russian mafia movie "Brat" (Brother) offers a good introduction to current Russian rock, with selections from groups such as Masha i Medvedi, Zemfira and Splin. Clips from the movie play after each song. The music itself is good and worthwhile, ranging in mood from dark and gritty to almost cheerful. Lyrics are all in Russian."
