Not for Lutherans only!

""Church Basement Ladies" pays homage to the women who toil, often unappreciated, in the kitchens of American churches. While there are many references in the music to the specific Norwegian-Minnesotan tradition of the fictional West Cornucopia Lutheran Church, the music and the play both celebrate the importance of the women whose work is so often hidden behind the scenes in churches across our nation. Anyone who enjoys Garrison Keillor's wit will enjoy the multiplicity of musical styles found on this CD and will laugh out loud at the clever turns of phrase (who would have thought someone could use "krumkake" in a song?) Highly recommended for all ages!"
Hilarious

"Very nice item, saw this play and had to have the CD. It is hilarious, especially if you grew up Lutheran!"
