Beautiful record--not long enough!

"of course, Orenda Fink has been busy since her last solo LP. she has written pretty much every song for her bands Art in Manila and O+S, also she tours with bands like Rilo Kiley, and has been working on new stuff with her Azure Ray counterpart Maria Taylor. Hearing her on her own again is refreshing, even if only for 28 minutes. This album has some real gems, such as the opener Why is the Night Sad, High Ground, Sister, and the new, more acoustic version of The Garden, amid all the other songs. its another artistic dream for someone who is IMHO Saddle Creek's finest singer-songwriter, and obviously someone with a lot of devotion to what she does. this one is a worthy addition to her incredible back catalog, also worth checking out...
