"Hi-- this is a wonderful, easy listening CD. It's great to pep you up, relax or just be. I especially like Peter's version of "One Trick Pony," and "Hi Babe." I am so glad to hear his voice so clearly and fluently. He shines as the talented folk singer he is. :)His harmony with James Lee Stanley is perfect. :)Dana"

"I love this cd. I listen to it all the time. I am a big Peter Tork fan, and Daydream Believer happens to be my favorite song. When I heard James and Peter's version, it makes me feel great. I hope the guys keep making more albums."

"Wonderful melodies and harmonizing. These guys are great together and separately as well. I hesitate to call it soothing-although I guess it can be. There isn't a lot of percussion or loud bass. The vocals really come through and they blend beautifully."
Once Again Peter has succeeded

"Once Again succeeds as a second rate album. I would not recommend it to just anyone, but for the true monkee fan. James Lee Stanley and Peter Tork are both excellent musicians. Their rendition of Daydream Believer is the highlight of the album. Having seen PT and JLS in concert, I understand it more, but would be at a loss to understand the whole cd if I had not. ..."
Quirky, and That's Not a Bad Thing

"I purchased this album a couple of years ago for my wife, who is a Peter Tork fan. Tork, a former member of the Monkees, is known as a multi-instrumentalist. He and Michael Nesmith were the two Monkees with the most musical experience, particularly as instrumentalists. If you don't believe that at least some members of that group really did play their own instruments, then it might surprise you to learn that Peter Tork contributed to George Harrison's Wonderwall Music album. You wouldn't expect Harrison to hire a faker. As a songwriter, Peter Tork is quirky. His "For Pete's Sake" was the theme music for The Monkees television series during its second season, and that song is pretty straightforward. Other Tork songs sometimes include unexpected lyrical non-sequitors and musical phrases that don't seem to end when the listener expects them to do so. Between Tork and James Lee Stanley there is quite a bit of good acoustic playing on this album, along with some of Tork's trademark quirkiness. As a singer, Tork even tackles some Monkees material not usually associated with him. To me, it is an interesting album for the playing and for the unusual approach that Tork and Stanley take. It tends, though, to defy categorization -- mostly because Once Again is just so unusual. Peter Tork might not be the most conventionally commercial sounding pop singer of his generation, but he wasn't afraid to take chances. This might be the kind of album that is best previewed before purchased, because it won't be everyone's cup of tea."
