Archetypical Olga

Siente el amor (Feel the Love) is probably the archetypical Olga Tanon album, the one that best represents the style that made her a powerhouse merengue singer in the 90s. It contains many of her best and most loved songs, like Una Noche Mas, Entre La Noche y el Dia, Ya Me Canse and others.

While Llevame Contigo is probably her greatest album, Siente el Amor comes close, and probably has the most wide appeal.

Listeners familiar only with Olga's more recent work will probably not recognize her here. Her singing is very different, and the merengue she sings is of a type that has long gone out of style.

All of that should be considered a plus, not a minus. I highly recommend this album of Olga, recorded when she was at her peak as an artist.
