"Nothing hit me this hard the whole decade. These guys were pre-teen, I think. They actually developed a style of their own-a little Stooges maybe, maybe a little Sex Pistols, and something from the 80's skate punk/hardcore scene that started with the Circle Jerks, then led to (I guess) Live Skull. Mostly this was all original ideas. The first album was cool, but there are so many screaming albums where the guys can't play their instruments, that it can get lost in that shuffle. This one CANNOT.Their dad wrote lyrics to 2 songs, there are guest appearances by school chums, but most importantly, they are devloping a style of their own here. It's hard, it's harsh, and who cares if it's a gimmick? The song structures are simple, but that just leaves more room for experimentation-or mistakes-and it's hard to tell which is which here. Buy this, and stay up all night listening to it. The odds of something this raw and primal ever getting such a broad distribution again are slim, at least in the short run. I'll shut up now, because no matter how much I say I can never really express how great this CD is."
