The 2 CD's are re-issues of the original DIGITAL vinyls,issued on the Archiv Label.To those unfamiliar with the works of Lebrun, who wish to experiment with new composers and new gendre in general, this re-release comes with my full recommendations.

Bart Schneemann's playing is outstanding, but the opus is not complete. Only 3 concerti were recorded.Indications are that Channel Classic is planning to complete the opus during the 2003-2004 season, plus issue the remaining 8 of 14 concerti(as per my communication with Channel Classics)."
