"If you are a traditional Flamenco or jazz purist, you're probably looking in the wrong section. That's why this album is called "New Flamenco", a term made popular by Ottmar Liebiert's first album, Nouveau Flamenco, which is anything but traditional flamenco.
For the rest of us looking for fun, exciting music that makes you want to get out of your chair and dance, this is for you! I'm an avid Nouveau Flamenco guitarist myself, I own dozens of Flamenco guitar albums, and this one is a must have.
Every song is enjoyable. Most are uptempo, played flawlessly and in great taste. I'd love to see them live!
I choose fun music over traditionally correct any day!"

"I would never consider myself as a critic of foreign music but when I heard Gypsy Moon while walking the streets of Austin, Texas I could not resist buying it! It has a rhythm that is deeply captivating and moving. As background music, foreground music, in your car or on the beach - this is a great CD. A highly recommeded purchase."

"The songs are easy to listen to, a lot of very good guitar playing and a fun album to listen to. This is one of those albums you listen to when you want to get things done, all the songs are upbeat and make you want to dance. I first heard the album in a music store in Austin, Texas it was being used for background music and it was so upbeat and good I bought both albums by NovaMenco, and have not found anything on the albums that I don't like. The other album is called "Flight to Paradise""
Rushed talent

"This is flamenco as it is commonly thought to be, fast as the wind and just as rushed. However, the talent that this group posseses is evident throughout the whole cd. Alot of the songs are very repetitive and a few sound incredibly similar, but all in all, this is a terrific group. Perhaps if they added words to their songs the same rythyms and frills wouldn't be so monotonous. However, I do recommend their latest recording. If only they could give us a cd as good as the concerts they put on.. They are spectacular to watch."
